CBSmembers Help

CBSmembers is membership management software built for Community Benefit Societies. It runs on your desktop (Windows and Mac) and connects to a PostgreSQL database — hosted by us, or on a server you control.

What it does

• Members — maintain your full member register with contact details, bank details, and correspondence preferences
• Shares — manage a multi-class share register; issue, withdraw, suspend, and transfer certificates
• Withdrawal requests — manage the request-to-payment lifecycle for members exiting the society
• Dividends — calculate, approve, and pay dividends; export BACS files and generate per-member statements
• Communications — send emails and print postal letters from merge templates; CRM notes per member
• Marketing — connect MailChimp and keep your mailing audience in step with your membership
• Board & governance — directors register, meetings, society documents, board notifications
• Member portal — members can log in to view their details, download documents, and request changes
